The Nuqrah VMS Belt, located in the Arabian Shield, hosts gold deposits and diverse mineralization styles. The region spans 170 km and is underlain by the Neo-Proterozoic Hulayfah Group. The region features granite and diorite intrusions, with the Murdama Group deposited over it. Extensive multi-phase exploration from the 1960s to the present involved geological mapping, geochemical surveys, geophysical surveys, and drilling techniques.
