Issuance of a Reconnaissance License
Beneficiaries of the Service
Individuals and companies can apply for a Reconnaissance License after meeting the conditions and requirements.
How to Apply for the Service
It is possible to submit a request for the issuance of a Reconnaissance License through Taadeen Platform, after meeting the following conditions:
- For individuals: The applicant must hold an academic qualification in a field related to Earth sciences or possess relevant experience in mining activities.
- For companies: A qualified Earth sciences specialist must be available, or the company must commit to hiring a qualified individual or entity to carry out the reconnaissance work.
Procedures for Applying for the Service
- Specify the administrative region of the requested license.
- Provide proof of technical competence.
- Provide proof of financial capability.
- Submit the proposed Reconnaissance work plan.
Reconnaissance License Duration
The Reconnaissance License is issued for a period not exceeding two years.
Reconnaissance License Issuance Fees
- Application submission fee: 5,000 .
- License issuance fee: 5,000 .
Renewal of Reconnaissance License
How to Apply for the Service
It is possible to submit a request for the renewal of the Reconnaissance License at least 90 days before its expiration date by visiting the service center. This is after meeting the following condition:
- The applicant must not be overdue in paying any amounts owed to the ministry.
Reconnaissance License Renewal Duration
The Reconnaissance License is renewed once for a period not exceeding two years.
