    • Building material quarry licenses: Only annual and final reports are required.
  • Reports must be authenticated:
    • Annual and financial reports must be certified by a licensed accountant, except for final exploration reports.
  • All required documentation and data must be attached, including:
    • Operational summaries.
    • Compliance updates with environmental and rehabilitation plans.
    • Financial disclosures.

Note: License holders must comply fully with these requirements and adhere to the timelines to ensure license continuity and avoid regulatory violations.

  • Submission deadlines vary based on the license type:
    • Semi-annual  and annual exploration reports: Submitted every six months.
    • Quarterly exploitation reports: Submitted every three months.
    • Annual exploitation reports: Submitted within 120 days after the fiscal year ends.
    • Final reports: Submitted within 30 days before license expiration.
  • Failure to submit timely or accurate reports may result in penalties or license suspension.
  • Reports must accurately reflect operational activities, compliance with environmental standards, and financial performance.
  • The Ministry reserves the right to audit and verify all submitted reports.

Licenses Relinquishment

This service allows the license owner to cancel and withdraw from the rights and obligations of the license, thereby ceasing the authorized mining activities.

Description

Relinquish license allows the license owner to partially or completely abdicate the license along with its rights and obligations associated with mining activities. This requires submitting an official request to cancel the license and providing reasons for relinquishing it. The aim of this service is to provide an opportunity for the owner to relinquish the   if it is undesirable or for any other reason that necessitates discontinuing the authorized mining activities.

  • No specific fees are associated with relinquishment, but all pending payments must be paid.

Return Required Records:

  • Submit all relevant data, including geological studies, drill samples, analysis results, and reports related to the relinquished area or minerals, within 180 days of the Ministry's approval.
  • All data, samples, and reports related to the relinquished license must be returned to the Ministry within 180 days of approval.
  • The licensee remains responsible for environmental compliance and site rehabilitation as per the license terms before final approval of the relinquishment.
