Issuance of a Surplus Ore License

 

Beneficiaries of the Service

 

Individuals and companies can apply for a Surplus Ore License after meeting the conditions and requirements.

 

How to Apply for the Service

 

You can submit a request for the issuance of a Surplus Ore License by logging into the Taadeen platform at smsc.sa and selecting the "License Issuance - Surplus Ore License" screen, after fulfilling the following conditions:

  • The applicant must be the owner of the land or project.
  • The mineral ores must be of category (C).
  • The licensee is not allowed to establish any fixed facilities or units at the site related to crushing, grinding, processing, or refining operations.
  • The applicant must be committed to environmental conservation.

 

Application Procedures for the Service

 

  • Fill out the Surplus Ore License issuance form on the Taadeen platform.
  • Specify the site area from which the materials are to be extracted, along with its geographical coordinates.
  • Identify the type and quantity of ores to be utilized.
  • Provide the necessary permits from the relevant authorities that authorize work at the site, such as a settlement letter from the municipality.

 

License Duration

 

The duration of the Surplus Ore License is one year.

 

Surplus Ore License Issuance Fees

 

  • Application Submission Fee: 10,000 SAR
  • License Issuance Fee: 20,000 SAR
