Licenses Relinquishment Service

Service Beneficiaries

Holders of valid exploration and exploitation licenses are allowed to relinquish their licenses before the expiration date.

Licenses Eligible for Relinquishment

• Exploration licenses
• Exploitation licenses (Building Materials Quarry / Mining and Small Mine)

How to Apply for the Service

The request to relinquish a license can be submitted by visiting the service center, after meeting the following conditions:

• Submit to the Ministry all reports, studies, and sample results related to the site or the relinquished minerals within a period not exceeding 180 days from the date of approval.
• No violations should be recorded.
• No outstanding financial dues.

Application Procedures

• Fill out the license relinquishment form and submit it to the Ministry.
• Provide the Ministry with detailed reports regarding the site or the relinquished minerals.
