This service allows the holder of a license (exploration or exploitation) to transfer their license to another eligible investor.

Description

This service allows the holder of a license (exploration or exploitation) to transfer their license to another eligible investor. This process is overseen by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and technical standards.

  • Complete and submit the application

Transfer applications must be initiated:

  • 60 days before the license expires for exploration licenses.
  • 180 days before the license expires for exploitation licenses​.

Submission of a transfer application through Taadeen platform, including:

  • Details of the license to be transferred.
  • Information on the transferee and their qualifications.
  • A transfer agreement between the current licensee and the transferee.
  • Proof that the transferee has the financial and technical capabilities to fulfill license obligations.
  • Declaration that the current licensee has no outstanding dues or violations.
  • All rights and obligations of the license transfer to the new licensee upon completion of the transfer process.
  • The transferee must adhere to the terms of the license, including environmental, social, and financial responsibilities.
  • The transfer is effective only after the Ministry’s approval.
