The License Issuance Service enables individuals or companies to apply for and obtain mining-related licenses, including reconnaissance, exploration, exploitation, and general purpose licenses. The service is regulated by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources to ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and technical standards.

  • Login to Taadeen.
  • Go to requests section.
  • Select the type of license (e.g., exploration, mining).
  • Complete the application form and attach all required documents.
  • Submit the application and pay the application fees.
  • Await for review and approval.

Eligibility:

  • Licenses are generally issued to companies, except for reconnaissance licenses which may be issued to individuals.
  • Applicants must meet financial and technical criteria.

Documentation:

  • A complete application form.
  • Technical and financial capability reports.
  • Environmental and social impact plans (where applicable).

Financial Obligations:

  • Payment of application and license issuance fees within the invoice due date.

Compliance:

  • Adherence to the terms and conditions of the license, including rehabilitation plans and periodic reporting.
  • The Ministry reserves the right to reject applications if requirements are not met, with written justification provided.
  • Licenses are issued for specific areas and durations:
    • Exploration licenses: Valid for up to five years with renewal options.
    • Exploitation licenses: Duration depends on the mineral class and nature of operations.
  • License holders must adhere to environmental, social, safety, and financial commitments.
  • The Ministry may terminate licenses for non-compliance or if the licensee fails to fulfill obligations within the timeframe.
