Financial Compensation for Category (A) Minerals
The financial compensation for Category (A) minerals is calculated in two phases:
Phase One: The financial compensation is calculated based on the value of the mineral at the time of extraction, according to the rates specified in the mining laws and regulations outlined below.
Phase Two: An amount equivalent to the income tax, minus the due Zakat, is calculated and applied to companies with partial or full Saudi ownership.
