Issuance of General Purpose License

Beneficiaries of the Service

Companies holding a mining license or a small mine license may apply for a General Purpose License, provided that all conditions and requirements are met.

How to Apply for the Service

You can submit a request to issue a General Purposes License by visiting the service center

Hold a valid mining license or a small mine license.
The application must be submitted at least (90) days prior to the expiry of the mining license or small mine license.
The area must be consistent with the facilities and infrastructure the applicant intends to establish in order to achieve the purposes of the mining license or small mine license.

Service Application Procedures

Fill out the General Purpose License issuance form.
Provide information related to the associated mining license or small mine license.
Submit an Environmental and Social Impact Management Plan.
Submit a Rehabilitation and Closure Plan.
Specify the type of financial guarantee and the method of submission.
