License amendment service allows the licensee to amend the minerals or increase the license area. Which supports the investor to achieve exploration or exploitation goals based on operational findings. 

  • Login to Taadeen.
  • Go to the Requests section.
  • Click on Submit new request.
  • Choose license amendment.
  • Complete the amendment form and attach required documents.
  • Submit the application and pay the amendment fees (if applicable).
  • Await Ministry review and approval.

Eligibility:

  • The license must be active during the amendment application.
  • Amendments are limited to updates in license coordinates, minerals, or work plans.

Documentation:

  • Completed amendment application form.
  • Supporting documents detailing the requested amendments (e.g., updated coordinates, minerals, plans, or technical reports).
  • Justifications for the amendment, including technical, economic, or operational reasons.

Conditions:

  • Approval Rights: The Ministry reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet eligibility or documentation requirements.
  • Coordinates Limit: Coordinates amendment requests must not exceed 50% of the original licensed area.
  • Compliance Standards: Licenses must remain compliant with environmental, social, technical, and operational standards during and after the amendment process.

Financial Obligations:

  • Payment of amendment application fees, as determined by the Ministry.
  • The Ministry reserves the right to impose additional terms or deny requests that do not align with compliance guidelines.
  • Changes to license parameters, such as coordinates, minerals, or plans, are subject to Ministry review and approval.
  • Licenses must continue to comply with all legal, environmental, social, and operational requirements during and after the amendment.
